As we are approaching the New Year, we tend to think about what we want to accomplish in the year to come. If decorating is one of them, I have 7 Design Trend Predictions for 2024.
No. 1 - Country Club Aesthetic
Picture Princess Diana meets Ralph Lauren at the Country Club. We will see a lot of cabana stripes, woven details, rich leather, and beautiful molding profiles.
No. 2 - Natural & Luxe Pairing
A lot of textural stone on walls paired with a steel element. Textural quality will continue to be big.
No. 3 - Warm Reds
A lot of pop of red in fashion right now, from sweaters to socks and we will be sure to see this make its way into the interiors as well. We will see warmer tones, like burgundy. The use of color can be experimented into the space with pillows and accessories.
No. 4 - Understated Opulance
Maximalism. Adding More. Adding that extra piece.
No. 5 - Italian Inspired Pieces
Beautiful iron details, marble, tapestry
No. 6 - Statement Tile & Flooring
Pairing two types of tile together and taking classic tiles and doing them in interesting ways
No. 7 - Maximum Personality
Shying away from the cold grey look. People are braver now and they want to infuse their personality through pieces that tell a story
